Jan Marcason is a former City Councilwoman, an active member of Community Christian Church, and a Southmoreland Neighborhood resident. The Steeple of Light has inspired me from the time I moved to the Plaza area in 1997.
Judy Robinette is a member of the Community Christian Church and considers herself fortunate
to be able to experience the sacred space designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and honored to share
it with visitors who join her on a tour of the building.
Ken Mohler has been a very active member of Community Christian Church for over twenty years. He has always been interested in this wonderfully complex building that the church occupies. Having little of the artist in him, but wanting to help, he serves as the treasurer, bringing thirty years of banking regulation with him.
Elizabeth Rosin, founder of Rosin Preservation, is a nationally recognized expert in the field. She is drawn to projects that are out of the ordinary and that require creative thinking and collaboration to achieve a successful resolution. A passionate fan of Frank Lloyd Wright’s architecture, her travels frequently include visits to Wright buildings.

Ingrid Busch is passionate about how spaces can bring a community together. The historic Frank Lloyd Wright building is ideally situated, and perfectly designed, to serve as a communal gathering space for arts, entertainment and opportunities to have essential conversations about what it means to be Kansas Citians.
Chuck Mader will supply his information soon.

Principal, Stark Wilson Duncan Architects
Paul Stark was excited to join the Wright on Main board in 2020. He has been an enthusiast of Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural body of work since studying architecture in college, and is honored to play a part in the ongoing historic preservation of Community Christian Church.
Principal, 1 Main Circuit
Sheila Vemmer is a historic preservation planner and communications consultant. A former photojournalist, Sheila became interested in historic preservation after seeing first-hand loss of history from conflict, capitalism and climate change.
Rev. Shanna Steitz
In 2014, Community Christian Church called its seventh, and first female senior minister in the church’s 130-year history, Rev. Shanna Steitz. Rev. Steitz is a person of deep prayer, big love and spirit-filled intentionality. She open-heartedly embraced Wright on Main’s efforts to restore the Steeple of Light as a gift to the people of Kansas City and is working with the board in efforts to complete the essential Historic Structures Report which will provide strategic direction to ongoing building enhancement and maintenance. She serves Wright on Main in an ex-officio role.
